Allaire HomeSite 4.5 is used to cobble the pages together in HTML. Allaire was acquired by Macromedia, and development on HomeSite stopped at version 5.5. Understandable, considering Macromedia was more interested in pushing Dreamweaver.

What’s worse is that Macromedia in turn has been acquired by Adobe, which has famously shunned HTML editors. I guess this means hasta la vista, HomeSite?

The style sheets are created in TopStyle 1.5 Lite, which comes with HomeSite.

Text is edited in EditPlus 2.10a, HomeSite 4.5, and OpenOffice.org.

Fonts specified on this site are Trebuchet MS, Helvetica, Verdana, and Geneva. Header and splash page graphics use Adobe Univers ExtraBlack and Adobe Univers UltraCondensed.

Images

Ph otos not taken with di gital cam eras are scanned on a Nikon LS-2000 film scanner, Epson Perfection 2450, and Epson Perfection 3170 Ph oto Image Scanners.

Graphics are created in CorelDraw 9.

Images are edited in Adobe Ph otoshop 5.5 and 7.0, Corel Ph oto-Paint 9, and Gimp for Windows 2.0.

Deployment

Site deployment is done using Windows Commander 5.11 and Total Commander 6.51.

Browser Compatibility

Before December 2005 this site was designed to display properly in Netscape 4.76, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 and 6, and Mozilla Firefox 1.0.

After December 2005 old and new pages do not display properly in Netscape versions prior to 7.2. Pages display correctly in Mozilla Firefox 1.0, Internet Explorer 6.0, Opera 8.x, and Netscape 7.2. Our apologies to Netscape 4.x diehards, but hey, we have to move on. And don't forget we stood up for you for seven years.
