• Pre-register at the FPPF office or online
• Make your payment in person or by bank deposit
• Bring two 1×1 I.D. ph otos to the FPPF office

Wor kshop sessions

• Film or di gital cam era, preferably one that allows you to set shutter speed and aperture manually. Check if your auto-everything cam era allows manual exposure override. Point-and-shoot cam eras (compacts) are acceptable, but discouraged.
• Film and developing are free.

Day One
Camera operation and handling
Basic cam era parts and icons
Correct exposure by adjusting aperture and shutter speed
Reading the cam era meter
Practice shoot inside Fort Santiago

Day Two
Critique of ph otos from last session
Understanding composition: leading lines, rule of thirds, frames, foreground and background, S-curves, patterns, light and shadow
Practice shoot on composition

Day Three
Critique of ph otos from last session
Portraiture: posing
Lighting theory and practice
Using flash
Choosing filters for portraits
Hands-on shoot indoors and outdoors using studio lights, reflectors, and available light

Day Four
Principles of black & white ph otogr aphy
Product ph otogr aphy: lighting, setup, using props
Critique and judging of prints
Presentation of certiticates of attendance, awarding of prizes for ph oto contest
