So, who won in the 2-day Fashion Photo Shoot held at the Glorietta during PhotoWorld Asia 2009?
The photo judges worked overtime last night (Feb 1) to winnow hundreds of entries (about 5 inches thick of 5×7 prints) to the photo contest down to the best 50. From there, the board of judges determined the Top Ten winners who will all receive cash awards.
The Top Ten photos were then voted on to determine the ranking from First to Tenth places. There were two ties down at 2nd and 5th places, so these were also voted on again to break the ties.
So, who won? We’ll post the details as well as the winning photographs here as soon as possible, but we’ll tell you now who won First Place:
It’s Dr. Diosdado D. Dominado, 67, a physician from Olongapo City. He’s a member of the Olongapo Camera Club. He wins P10,000 for his winning fashion photograph. The good doctor from Olongapo is amazing! Aside from his First Prize, three other entries from Dr. Dominado also landed in the top ten, each receiving P1,000. Dr. Dominado gets a total of P13,000. Congratulations, doctor!
The other winners will be announced here very soon, so watch this space. First Place gets P10,000, 2nd Place wins P7,000, 3rd gets P5,000 and all the rest will have P1,000 each. All the winning photographs will be posted here.
