first off, that’s an excellent kit lens bundled with the d90; kit lenses bundled with the new nikons and canons are very good nowadays, compared to about 2-3 years ago. the 18-105mm lens is very good, i suggest you take it (there are issues with do-everything lenses like the 18-200, read some reviews).
for the rest of the year, there are weekend classes that start on nov 28 & 29. there’s also a weekday class that will start on nov 23. see sched here:

By the way, we are getting the Nikon D90 standard kit next week. I know it is better just to take the body & buy a better lens (18-200), but is it really necessary or will the standard lens of the kit do?

Hi. Me and my husband would like to attend either the Nov or Jan workshop on weekends. Which slot/s is/are still open? Thanks.

Hi Lhen,
Long zoom, articulating 3-inch LCD, 9 megapixels – hey, what’s not to like about the Sony H50? most importantly, it allows you to manually set your aperture, shutter speed and ISO. It’s a good camera to bring to the workshop! See you, Lhen.
