The sweet Italian couple, Katia Giovannini and Mario Seiacca, kiss before the announcement on who won First Place in the portrait category of the special 2nd weekend batch in Basic Photography. Katia won the medal; Mario was happy to settle for 2nd Place.
We welcome our Italian guests Mario Seiacca and Katia Giovannini, photo above, who took time out from their work to attend the Basic Photography workshop with the FPPF at Fort Santiago in Manila. They are part of 15 participants to the 2nd special weekday workshop offered mainly to those who wish to learn to use the digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera but can’t find time to attend the weekend workshops.
The FPPF offers the weekday workshop to overseas Filipino workers, those from the provinces who can’t stay for five weekends in Manila, busy execs who must finish it in the shortest time and busy Moms who simply must stay home on weekends. The contents of the special weekday workshops are the same as those in the weekend workshops.
