Jonah Ramirez shows her two trophies for winning both categories – Portrait and Still Life – in her Basic Photography class. Her grand slam win also earned her a scholarship to the FPPF Advanced Photography Workshop.
She worked hard to earn it. Jonah Ramirez of Las Piñas, Metromanila topped her class in Basic Photography, winning First Place in both portrait and still life categories by working days – and nights – to complete her final entries. Three days for the portrait and another three days for still life, she said, until she was satisfied with the outcome. Jonah is with Batch 26, Basic Photography Workshop, Sundays, September 20 to October 18, 2009.
For her excellent work, the 29-year-old mother of three happily took home two trophies, both First Place, which also won for her a scholarship to the Advanced Photography Workshop, paving the way for a higher level of photography education for the budding photographer. FPPF Director Lito Beltran awarded the scholarship to Jonah during the final day of the workshop. Jonah works in property management for RCBC Plaza in Makati.
