
FPPF Chairperson Edi Huang addresses convention delegates during the opening of PhotoWorld Asia 2010 at the Asian Institute of Management in Makati. Participants came from all over the Philippines including Cebu, Iloilo, Baguio, the Bicol region, General Santos City, Davao, Palawan, Butuan City, Pangasinan and Metromanila. Delegates also came from other countries including Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Indonesia and Malaysia. The convention, which comprise the educational series of PhotoWorld Asia 2010 photography trade show, runs until February 1 at the SGV Hall of ACCM.

Senior Consultant John Silva of the National Museum held a very engrossing picture show during the convention, featuring rare antiquarian photographs that depict significant episodes in Philippine history.
