An FPPF Basic Photography class in Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila.

The FPPF will hold a Basic Photography Workshop in San Fernando, Pampanga for five Sundays, from April 25 to May 23, 2010. Venue will be the B & S Technology Center Bldg in the Genetic TIHM School, reputedly one of the best robotic schools, in Santa Lucia, City of San Fernando, Pampanga.

The workshop will cover camera functions and how to operate the digital single-lens reflex (DSLR) camera for proper exposure control. Also covered are composition, elements of design, portrait posing & lighting, outdoor portraiture, lighting table top still life and digital imaging workflow. There will be critique sessions after the daily hands-on shoots and prizes will be awarded to the best shots. FPPF instructors from Manila will conduct the workshop.

Workshop fee is P3,900 per person for 5 sessions. Only 30 slots are available for this batch. Those who reserved seats without payment as of the first workshop day (April 25) will be put on a waitlist and will be allowed to join only if there are seats available. @john eric: cancelled yung batch that should start on april 25, but we request those who enrolled in that batch to instead attend the sunday workshop that will start on may 16, hanggang june 13 yun sa agatha resort, guiguinto, bulacan. workshop hours: 10am to 6pm. you might as well join that said batch.

i’m interested po dito.. i’m interested in learning basic photography, kaso wala po akong camera.. really really interested.. the only camera i have is a canon a480 :) ..

@spike: any digital camera that allows you to manually control ISO, shutter speed and aperture, digital SLR camera highly recommended.

@jenna: 5th and final session will discuss the digital imaging workflow, plus some demos on photoshop & lightroom in the morning. tapos, final critique & judging of prints and graduation na sa hapon.

@ross: since you live in q.c., ross, perhaps you could look at the schedule of our main workshops which are regularly held in fort santiago. the provincial workshops we do are intended for those far from metromanila.

basic yung mag umpisa ng april 25, adrian. but we also have a schedule for advanced in guiguinto, bulacan for 5 saturdays starting may 22.
