Models Zander and Micah ham it up before the cameras during one of several photo shoots of the FPPF Wedding Photography Workshop, April 19-22, 2010 at the FPPF Art Chamber 1 in Fort Santiago, Intramuros, Manila. Photo by Chris Malinao.
It was a hilarious, riotous day at the FPPF Art Chamber 1 on the second day of the FPPF Wedding Photography Workshop when the priest officiating the mock wedding ceremony also took part in the shooting. The priest was real, the wedding was not, and it was all fun during the hands-on shoot of the workshop.
The priest, Father Elijah Pantorilla of the Franciscan Seminary in Novaliches, is a participant in the wedding photography workshop having just finished his FPPF basic photography course last month. He was invited by the FPPF to join the workshop primarily to advise on church ceremonies and to see to it that proper decorum is observed during the workshop.
The next FPPF Wedding Photography workshop will be on June 21, 22, 23 & 24, 2010.

Father Elijah Pantorilla stands in as a real priest during the mock wedding ceremony.

And he also shoots. This real priest is also a real photographer.

Top wedding photographer Jomel Gregorio, left, is the main instructor of the wedding photography workshop. He instructed the workshop, covering pre-nuptial pictorial on the first day and the wedding shoot on the second day. The third day will have wedding photographer Joseph Galian discussing the business side of wedding photography. Fourth and final day will feature wedding events coordinator Christine Ong-Te and FPPF graphics artist Frando Culata for the post process and album preparations.

The wedding portrait, with models Micah and Zander complete with a pretty flower girl.

The 3rd batch of FPPF Wedding Photography Workshop, with their instructor Jomel Gregorio, 3rd from right, back row, and models. 4th from right of course is Father Elijah Pantorilla, the photographer-priest.
