The Center for International Trade Expositions and Missions (CITEM) of the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) is now accepting entries to the 1st PINES Eco-Photography Contest, part of the 1st Philippine International Eco-Show (PINES) which will be held on August 26-28, 2010 at the SMX Convention Center, Pasay City.
With a theme, “Towards a Greener Earth,” this government undertaking aims to promote the importance of addressing climate change challenges and encourage responsible governance towards the environment through photography.
Prizes include P10,000 for the 1st Place, P5,000 for the 2nd Place and P3,000 for the 3rd Place winners. The 1st to 3rd Places will also receive certificates of recognition and a slot in the Eco-Business Tour on August 28, 2010. The 4th to 10th Place winners will have consolation prizes and certificates of recognition.
This initiative is in partnership with the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation, Inc (FPPF) and Global Competitiveness Training and Consultancy, Inc.
