During the judging and final critique session, FPPF mentor Prof. Cecilia S. Angeles points out a compositional element to be remembered as she holds a photo for scrutiny. Avoid border merger, she reminds the class, referring to an awkwardly cropped elbow or head that disappears to the photo’s edge.
