SanDisk is holding a unique photo contest during the trade show at PhotoWorld Asia 2012, January 26-31 at the Glorietta in Makati City. Dubbed “SanDisk Preserve a Piece of History,” the photo contest calls for entries of the oldest photographs from your collections. Photos should be original prints, not scanned or reprinted, and they should contain historical relevance.
SanDisk brand officer Lady Dianne Prado said the entries will be posted on the SanDisk Memory Vault wall until the day of awarding. Submission of entries is from January 28-29, 10am-8pm at SanDisk Booth. Awarding and announcement of winners will be on January 31, 2012, 7pm at the SanDisk booth. Participants can get their photos right after the awarding activity.
Two winners will be chosen: First Prize will be a 16GB SanDisk Memory Vault, and 2nd Prize will be an 8GB SanDisk Memory Vault. According to SanDisk, the Memory Vault has been engineered to preserve photos and videos for up to 100 years and is physically designed for long-term reliability and durability.
Prado said other activities lined up at the SanDisk booth include the SanDisk Wiregame and Pachingo game. They will also be giving away some freebies and Red Frame discounts.
The PhotoWorld Asia 2012 photography trade show at the Glorietta will be open to the public for free from January 26-31.
