KAHIT MAY “K” OK is a photo contest by the NCDA, the government’s National Council on Disability Affairs, in cooperation with the Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation.

“Being Disabled is no reason to stop Living.”

The National Council on Disability Affairs (NCDA, www.ncda.gov.ph) is inviting photographers to shoot photos that can inspire and tell stories of dreams, triumphs, aspirations, and strength of people with disabilities.

Mechanics of the Contest:

• Photographs must be taken in digital format using DSLR or smartphone camera. We’re looking for a minimum of 5 images, or a maximum of 10 images that will create a photo essay.
• All photographs should be taken from October 15 to November 26, 2017
• Both the raw file and processed files (JPEG) of the entry should be submitted. Raw files will be required for the Top 25 finalist entries.
• Print entries must be submitted together with a model release and a detailed caption, title of the subject matter.
• 8×12 inches, no border
• Maximum 3 PWD subjects per photographer
Applicable for Colored Prints Only and Photo Paper Only (No Metallic or Pearl Paper) triumphs
• Photos that are digitally enhanced or altered for creative purposes are not allowed. Altered images refer to photographs manipulated and applied with special effects (colorizing, toning, collage, photo composites, stitched panoramas, high dynamic range or HDR images, etc.).
• Infrared photos taken with filter or taken by infrared camera not allowed. Only minor adjustments acceptable in the color, sharpness, contrast or digital equivalents are allowed.
• Photographs to be submitted should have no watermark. There should be no identifying mark on the images to eliminate any bias during the screening and judging of the submitted photos.
• All Photographs submitted will be donated to the promotion of NCDA “KAHIT may K OK” Photo Contest.
• If the photographs are published and printed it will be acknowledged by the NCDA Organizers and FPPF Publications.

Grand Prize Winner – P15,000
Second Place Winner – 10,000
Third Place Winner – 5,000
4th to 10th Place Winners – 2,500 each
Trophies and medals shall also be awarded.
