Successful event; it rained some, but the day gave photographers good shooting time and much to be happy about. The 30th FPPF Anniversary and Grand Reunion was graced by 35 Filipiniana models provided by SLAM Events Production.

The Federation of Philippine Photographers Foundation (FPPF) celebrated Saturday, Oct 14, its 30th anniversary as a community of photographers in the country. It was also a grand reunion of graduates of FPPF photography workshops through the years.

FPPF Chair Mrs. Eduviges Y. Huang said the non-profit, non-stock foundation serves as leader in Philippine photography, bringing together photographer organizations under one roof. The FPPF has hosted the yearly Photo World Asia international photographers’ conference and photography trade show in Manila continuously for 30 years now. The Foundation has also been holding year-round photography workshops in its home base in Intramuros, Manila.

Anniversary activities included a mini photography trade show with various camera makers and photography suppliers, photo contests, fun games, zumba dancing in the morning, and lots of shooting. SLAM Events Production of Sara Lee Abesamis provided 35 female models in their elegant Filipiniana dresses, while Jason Tanjuakio’s Design Team Portfolio brought six additional body painting and fashion models.
