The FPPF in cooperation with Cebu PhotoWorks will hold the 14th Cebu Photography Workshop (CPW14) on January 6, 7 & 8, 2012 (Fri-Sat-Sun) at the Cebu PhotoWorks Studio at the SCSIT (Salazar Colleges of Sciences & Institute of Technology). FPPF instructors from Manila will be flying in to Cebu City for the workshop.
Day 1:
- DSLR camera operation and handling
- Basic camera parts and icons
- Correct exposure by adjusting ISO, aperture and shutter speed
- Reading the camera meter
- Understanding SLR lenses
- Practice shoot: deep DOF, shallow DOF, blur/freeze motion, panning, etc.
Day 2:
- Photography as Art
- Visual Perception
- Elements of Design: lines shapes, form, texture, pattern color, perspective, framing, balance, story, negative & positive space.
- Understanding composition: leading lines, rule of thirds, frames, foreground and background, S-curves, patters, light and shadow.
- Introduction to Lighting
- Introduction to Still Life/Product Shooting
Day 3:
- Lighting Theory and Practice
- Portraiture and posing
- Using flash and studio lights
- Choosing filters for portraits
- Introduction to Digital Imaging Workflow
- Hands-on shoot indoors and outdoors using studio lights, reflectors and available light.
- Awarding of certificates
